Born on October 9, 1996, in Washington, D.C., Isabella Khair Hadid, professionally known as Bella Hadid, is an American model of Palestinian and Dutch descent. She was raised in Santa Barbara, California, alongside her siblings Gigi and Anwar Hadid, both of whom are also models. Her father, Mohamed Hadid, is a Palestinian-American real estate developer, and her mother, Yolanda Hadid, is a Dutch-American former model and television personality .​

Modeling Career

Bella began her modeling career at the age of 16 and signed with IMG Models in August 2014. She made her New York Fashion Week debut the following month. In 2016, she was voted "Model of the Year" by industry professionals for Models.com . Hadid has since become one of the most recognizable faces in the fashion industry, working with brands such as Dior, Chanel, and Versace. In 2017, she broke the record for the most Vogue September covers in one year by appearing in five international editions .​
